Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are not claiming to have reached it; this page says where we are.
What is in place
- The interface works from the keyboard, and focus is visible.
- Text scales with the system font size, and the layout reflows rather than clipping.
- Colour is not the only way any state is conveyed.
- Light and dark themes both meet the AA contrast ratio for body text.
- Buttons and controls carry accessible names, not just icons.
- Media controls are reachable and do not trap focus.
Known gaps
- No formal audit by a third party has been carried out.
- Screen-reader announcements for live updates — a message arriving, a call connecting — are incomplete.
- Some long-press gestures have a pointer-only affordance; every one of them has a keyboard or menu equivalent, but the discoverability is poor.
- Video call layouts have not been tested with magnification above 200%.
Telling us about a barrier
[not yet published: legal contact address]. Say what you were trying to do and what stopped you; that is more useful to us than a standard reference, though both are welcome. We aim to respond within 5 working days and to say what we will do and when.
